1. Perfect Your Stance and Balance

A pitcher’s stance is the foundation of a solid delivery. Without a balanced stance, it’s difficult to control your movement, resulting in inconsistent throws and reduced accuracy. Begin by positioning your feet shoulder-width apart and aligning them with the plate. Keep your knees slightly bent and distribute your weight evenly. Start by pushing off the mound with your back foot, using your legs to propel you towards the plate. This explosive movement helps you generate velocity and adds force to your pitch without overworking your arm.

Focus on proper hip rotation as you stride forward. Open your hips just enough to align your body with the target, and then snap your hips closed to generate additional torque. This technique not only increases your pitch speed but also helps keep your balance in check.

A smooth follow-through is essential for reducing arm strain and ensuring a consistent delivery.
